Winery Hosts Ladies' Fest

| One of the events we anticipate the most each year is our Ladies' Fest. Gather up a group of gals and head to our winery near Green Bay Wisconsin on July 11, 2009, from 11 am to 7 pm. We will have a variety of tents set up with different themes, including but not limited to: "Indulgence", "Entertainment" and "The Token Man". Is your curiosity piqued? Not only will you get to taste amazing wine in the company of good friends, you will also be fed fine food prepared by Apple Spice Junction, and given a mini-massage (massage therapist available from 11 am to 5 pm). Once you are thoroughly relaxed, we will feed you chocolate truffles (made with our Naughty Girl wine, of course) and encourage you to dance to live music by the Janet Macklin Duo and the Mango Brothers. All of this for just $30 per lady - what a bargain! We appreciate the ladies who attend our Ladies' Fests; that's why participating ladies will be among the first to sample a new wine and label called Risque Riesling. Only 30 cases will be available this year, and the ladies get first dibs. So plan to head to our Wisconsin Winery this July with a group of girlfriends. We can't wait to hear how you like our Risque Riesling. |
•$30/person includes commemorative glass and two fills of wine, a chocolate truffle, a massage by a licensed massage therapist*, & cuisine.
•Shopping faire, specialty foods, dance lessons, and token men!
•Enjoy the new batch of "Naughty Girl" and sample a limited release of "Risque Riesling".
•Music by the Janet Macklin Duo from 11am to 3pm, and the Mango Brothers from 3pm to 7pm.
*Massage therapists available from 11AM to 5PM, therapist reserves the right to refuse service for any reason

Do I need to purchase a ticket prior to event?
No, just come the day of and purchase at the gate.
What wines will be available for consumption and purchasing?
All of our wines will be available for purchase including an “exclusive”
Risqué Riesling (for this day only).
What is the food that is included?
Summer Chicken Salad Baguette with Grapes and Mandarin Oranges
Served with a Naughty Girl Pasta Salad.
Will there be other food for purchase on the grounds?
Yes
What kind of dance lessons and at what time?
Samba, Line Dancing, Hip Hop, and Hula Hooping
From 1pm pm to 4pm.
If I purchase wine is there some way to get it to where my car is parked?
Yes, we will have “pool boys” and a golf card to get it to you.
What bands are playing?
Janet Macklin Duo and the Mango Brothers Band
Is the winery open that day and will there be tours?
Yes, we will be open from 9am to 7pm. Tours will be available,
and the cost 3.75 per person.
If I attend the event, am I automatically enrolled in the “Lady of the Vine” club?
Yes, you will receive emails about the LOTV events. You get special treatment because
you are a member, such as 10% off all gift merchandise and free tours for you
and your party everytime you visit (May through October).
Will there be any non-alcoholic beverages?
Yes, non alcoholic sparking grape juice, soda, and water.

Description
The original von Stiehl Winery building is located on the north side of Navarino Street; two blocks from Lake Michigan on the Ahnapee River. The Italianate four story building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Guest areas include the third story tasting room, a 2,700 square foot terrace, and an underground vault available for special and private events.
Across the street is the second and current winery; otherwise known as Over There. Production moved to Over There in June 2011. The 11,100 square foot facility houses bottling, production, and wine storage rooms. It is available to see during any of our regularly scheduled tours.
