Saturday • July 9 • 12:30–4pm • Free Admission

What makes the perfect music venue? In the concert world acoustics make all of the difference. The best concert venue in northeast Wisconsin is the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. The acoustics there are amazing! Our venue won’t be the best for a symphony, but we have a few other advantages.

For starters, the Cuisine Concert backdrop is the Ahnapee River and Lake Michigan. That means cool summer breezes. It means plenty of mood-boosting negative ions! When the inland hits the 90s, everyone drives to the lake to enjoy upper 70s or lower 80s.

Now a summer Saturday afternoon with a Joel Kuether Trio concert in Wisconsin begs for a glass or two of wine – von Stiehl wine! Combine a cool breeze, waterscape, and wine! Should you get hungry, our friends from Skaliwags are on site with their catering truck. They serve the best gourmet sandwiches on the Lake Michigan east coast! For that matter, we’ll put their food against any truck on any coast!

Should you decide that wine isn’t for you during the Joel Kuether Trio Concert, just grab a craft beer from Ahnapee Brewery. The brewery’s tap room is right next door. You’ll also find the favorites on tap outside by the show.

Add all of that to a Joel Kuether Trio Concert, and you’ve found the ideal venue for summer music.

Legend has it that there was a Green Bay summertime billboard in the 1980s that displayed the air temperature of Algoma. There would be such a thing because in July and August when it is sweltering inland, Algoma typically enjoys a 70-something degree breeze off of Lake Michigan. Two blocks in from the beach you’ll find Skaliwags, a little dive bar that serves five star cuisine. Skaliwags birthed the Skaliwagon food truck, which shows up in front of our tap room and winery during the Saturday Cuisine Concerts.

Let’s do the math…

1 Cool Breeze + 1 Winery + 1 Brewery + 1 Food Truck + 1 Band =

5 Star Summer Bliss!

With a seating capacity of around 200, there’s plenty of room to take in the best parts of summer right in our back yard. Admission is free, so come take in all that Algoma has to offer with this band lineup:
