Concerts and Art in Algoma’s Heritage Park

July 6th, 2009 by

The next time you feel the need to get out of Green Bay Wisconsin, drive a half hour to Algoma, which sits on a little finger of land that juts out into Lake Michigan. Come visit the oldest winery in Wisconsin, Von Stiehl Winery, and spend a little time in our tasting room. When days are hot, we will help you cool down with sips of our Dry Apple Wrap, crafted from a family recipe more than one hundred years old. Or perhaps you would prefer a taste of our Lakeshore Fume, or Lakeshore Mist. Fear not, we will also let you taste a red or two, which you can take home and save until the weather turns cool again (or, what the heck, drink it now).

While here, check out the Concerts and Art in the Park series, at Heritage Park. Local musicians have the stage from 5 – 7 pm; the main performers take the stage at 7:30. Artists will be on hand to talk about their work and give Art Demos from 5 pm until dark.

Main Performers:

July 8: Rev. Raven & the Chain Smokin’ Altar Boys

July 15: Terrance Simien the Zydeco Experience

July 22: The Dave Steffen Band

July 29: Lubriphonic

August 5: Big Mouth & The Power Tool Horns

August 12: Tad Robinson

August 19: Copper Box

We have a lot of fun out here at our Algoma Wisconsin winery, and we hope you will, too, while you are here.
