Renards Cheese Sampling Pop Up!

When should you go on a cheese diet? … When you need to cheddar a few pounds!

 

Our Cheese Sampling Pop Up won’t be quite as cheesy as that joke, but it will include enjoying delectable complimentary samples from Renards Cheese! Visit us Saturday, March 7th between noon and 3pm to enjoy complimentary samples of various cheese products.

 

The impressive list includes the following:

  • Cloverleaf Reserve – Renard’s newest cheese. Renard’s Award-Winning Bandaged Style White Cheddar with Alpine Style Gruyere. Sharp and savory with delicate caramel nutty notes.
  • Cheese Curds – Cheddar Cheese curds are the youngest and freshest form of cheese. This savory Wisconsin favorite is mild, firm and has the traditionally known squeak when bitten into. Add to a burger, atop a pizza or as a snack!
  • Olive Cheddar – A mild cheddar cheese and saltiness of green olives allows the slight fruitful taste of black olives to present a delightful taste on the palate. A cheese that can be beautifully plated on a charcuterie board or perfectly melted on top of a toasted baguette.
  • Blue Marble Jack – The creamy taste of Monterey Jack with a zip of blue cheese make this cheese a must have! Great on cheese platters and melts well on burgers.

About Renards:

Renard’s Cheese was established in 1961 in Door County, Wisconsin. They are a family owned and operated business that is now on its third generation of cheesemakers. They currently produce approximately 3,000,000 pounds of cheese a year. In 2014, Chris Renard earned his Master Cheesemaker Certification – a nationally acclaimed title. While many things have changed over the years, the Renard’s recipe remains the same. This precise art has awarded the Renard’s not only a reputation of great standards but also a product that they are proud to put their name on.

 

The vendors we feature are near and dear to us because the cheeses are made by local producers. We all know Wisconsin does diary best!

Since we are a winery, we will even let you in on a secret as to which wine pairs well with each offering.

Anything sampled will be available for purchase, in case the sample kept you craving for more!
