Von Stiehl has offered many educational classes on wine, cider, and spirits. Now, join us for yet another educational series to lift your spirits- literally! Join us for our 2026 Mixology Series, a three-course education all about breaking down specific spirits that go into some of your favorite cocktails. 

The first installment of our 2026 Mixology Series is Vodka & Gin: Brothers from Another Mother. Although vodka and gin lead completely different lives, they are born from the same beginnings. While vodka is known for getting along with just about anyone with its neutral flavor profile, gin needs a little more coaxing with its pine-needle reputation. We have taken on the task of trying to open people’s eyes to the potential of both these spirits as their versatility is endless. 

If you identify as having a dry sense of humor, a complex set of skills, and a personality that others aren’t sure how to take, then you may have found a character match where you did not expect to find one before. By attending this course, you may not leave having only learned more about vodka & gin, *dramatic pause*, you may also leave having learned a little bit more about yourself as well. 

While attending this course of the series, you will tour our still, where we now make our own spirits; be educated on the ins and outs of vodka & gin as a general spirit; craft some of your new favorite cocktails featuring these spirits; and leave with surprise take-home items.

Although these classes do fall under our Mixology Series, you are not required to attend all three classes, but you are certainly welcome to! Each course will be held on a Saturday afternoon and has a 15-person maximum per class, so be sure to sign up soon for one or all classes. These classes are broken up every few months, leaving you fulfilled yet yearning for the next lecture!
