Jennifer Highland, known as a local legend ’round these parts, has displayed her talents over decades in the business ownership industry, and recently, as von Stiehl’s own Tasting Room & Wine Club Manager. Now, Jennifer Highland is wow-ing us with yet another amazing talent. (Is there anything she can’t do!? – Well, maybe Free Bird by Lynard Skynard, but that’s not because she can’t. Jacob Fannin has two original albums and appeared on Season 3 of NBC’s, The Sing Off. Most recently, he worked as a vocalist/guitarist for Carnival Cruise Lines and was part of the #1 rated Entertainment team among Carnival’s 20+ ships (as voted by guests) during his time with the company. Now, back in Wisconsin as a full-time musician, he performs a full list of cover songs from all genres and is constantly expanding his repertoire. Levi Ballenger is a full-time professional singer/songwriter, guitarist, and producer from central Wisconsin. He began playing music professionally in 2016, performing as a solo artist and with various groups. His influences are quite diverse and have helped him to develop a sound that is uniquely his own. He is currently completing his final year at UW Stevens Point, where he will graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in music and art. Let Levi Ballenger tend your senses with their music while our staff tends the fire!

Wet Whistle Wine Fest is a fundraiser for the Community Improvement of Algoma, and the Algoma Fire and Rescue. Our 2025 Wet Whistle Wine Fest offers award-winning wines, a grape stomp, hearty sandwiches, & live music! Upon initial observation, what may seem odd at Wet Whistle Wine Fest are all the costumes! We don’t ask anyone to dress up, yet it never ceases to amaze every year! This year, the event will be taking place on Friday, September 19th from 5PM-9PM, and Saturday, September 20th from 10AM-6PM. Come to the wine fest and see it for yourself!

Summer Concert Series With Wine On Friday

Attend the finale of our Summer Concert Series with Wine On Friday. Wine On Friday, is an exceptional five-piece, all-female group from the Appleton area. Performing a full variety of great music from the 60’s through contemporary music. Some of the artists they cover include: ABBA, Miley Cyrus, Lady GaGa, KT Tunstall, Etta James, Sammy Rae, Carol King, Linda Ronstadt, Amy Winehouse, and Dolly Parton- Not only do they perform such a wide range of strong female vocalists, but they also come prepared with their own original songs. Time to take out the convertible for one more ride, roll down the windows, and follow the music to von Stiehl Winery! Summer isn’t over yet, so stop by for a glass of wine or cider and celebrate it!
Our popular summer concert series will have you relaxing along our outdoor terrace on the Ahnapee River with a Lake Michigan view. Enjoy live music from great bands, and a glass of your favorite von Stiehl wine, hard cider, or craft beer – a recipe for the perfect Saturday afternoon. Feel free to bring your own chairs or picnic blankets. Just don’t forget your dancing shoes!
