When should you go on a cheese diet? … When you need to cheddar a few pounds!
Our Cheese Sampling Pop Up won’t be quite as cheesy as that joke, but it will include enjoying delectable complimentary samples from Renards Cheese! Visit us Saturday, October 12th between noon and 3pm to enjoy complimentary samples of various cheese products.
The impressive list includes the following:
- Cloverleaf Reserve – Renard’s newest cheese. Renard’s Award-Winning Bandaged Style White Cheddar with Alpine Style Gruyere. Sharp and savory with delicate caramel nutty notes.
- Cranberry Cheddar – Hints of sweet cranberries compliment the medium sharp tangy notes of this white cheddar cheese. Perfect for the fall!
- Heritage Reserve – A blend of Traditional Bandaged Style Chedder Cheese with Parmesan.
- Tomato Basil Cheddar – A medium cheddar with a tomato basil infusion.
Renard’s Cheese was established in 1961 in Door County, Wisconsin. They are a family owned and operated business that is now on its third generation of cheesemakers. They currently produce approximately 3,000,000 pounds of cheese a year. In 2014, Chris Renard earned his Master Cheesemaker Certification – a nationally acclaimed title. While many things have changed over the years, the Renard’s recipe remains the same. This precise art has awarded the Renard’s not only a reputation of great standards but also a product that they are proud to put their name on.
The vendors we feature are near and dear to us because the cheeses are made by local producers. We all know Wisconsin does diary best!
Since we are a winery, we will even let you in on a secret as to which wine pairs well with each offering.
