VIP Tour Returns for 2020…

In 2020, tour von Stiehl Winery like a VIP.

The tour will start at von Stiehl winery, where we will review our history and talk about the future.

Then, we will walk over to our production facility where we invite you behind the scenes with one of our winemakers. This is a great time to ask them your questions or compliment them on your favorite wine. Also, depending on what is going on at production, you may have the chance to sample something from the tanks before it gets into the bottle.

VIP Tours in the Cellars

VIP Tours will include a private three-course pairing in our 150 year old wine aging cellar.

After talking with the winemaker(s), we will head to the von Stiehl Winery century and a half-year-old cellars, followed by a private three-course pairing.

In order to make it feel more intimate, we are limiting each tour to 15 people. Reservations are required within a week of the tour. To reserve your spot and to check our availability below.

Vintage Wines with a River View

May 28, 2018 by Rayanne Racine

Summer Concert SeriesIf you’ve been to one of our summer concerts you know they are a big hit! We are excited that our 2018 Concert Series will be starting up in a month!

Below you will find a few updates we made for this year’s Summer Concert Series.

We’ve learned our customers love events that are all about the wine! This year, we will be re-releasing one of our past vintage wines. To sample the featured re-released wine, all you have to do is pay an additional $1 when tasting our Select Wines. The featured vintage wine will switch out each weekend, adding a something special to each concert. Most of the wines featured have less than 15 cases left, so tears will be shed.

The special tasting will be offered during the concerts. The featured wines, along with the bands, are listed below to help plan your trip!

  • July 7th – Annie Rose – 2010 Yakima Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
  • July 14th – Beaker Street – 2013 Extended Barrel Aged Kirsche
  • July 21st – Shocker – 2014 Alexander Valley Merlot
  • July 28th – Del Rays – 2012 Sierra Foothills Cabernet Sauvignon
  • August 4th – Doc Rube – 2012 Sangiovese Grosso
  • August 11th – Classic Friends – 2013 Sierra Foothills Cabernet Sauvignon
  • August 18th – Giving up the Ghost – Tequila Barrel Aged Hard Cider
  • August 25th – Glass Hammer – 2018 BrewVino Red
  • September 1st – Annie Rose – 2009 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

* The above vintage wines will only be available for purchase by the bottle only. Normal discounts will apply. 1 case per person limit. Hey, we have to draw the line somewhere!

Summer Series Vintage Wines

In past years, we’ve had a tent out on our lawn serving our wine and Ahnapee’s beer. This year, we’ve decided to serve the wine from our window and offer table service allowing for cash and card sales. Beer will be available at the Taproom, but still can be enjoyed on the terrace. The Skaliwagon Food Truck will not be with us this year. Instead, we recommend trying our Picnic Box for 2. The Picnic Box will include local Wisconsin cheeses, crackers, von Stiehl’s Hard Cider Sausage from Salmon’s Meat made with our Hard Cider, Door County munchies, Halo Vino glasses and other yummy snacks fit for two.
