You’ve all heard about celebrating “Christmas in July,” but what if we celebrated “July in Christmas!?” Well, we are offering you an opportunity to sign up for a von Stiehl tiki-Christmas themed event at the Cider & Spirits Bar!
Although this event is hosted during the time of ‘Peace On Earth”, and “Goodwill To All”, we still believe there is some space for some friendly competition. That is why the Cider & Spirits Bar will be hosting a tiki-themed gingerbread house competition!
But don’t worry, this doesn’t mean that we are not yet in ‘the season of giving.’ In fact, this entire festive competition is only a bonus to the holiday present that we really have in store for everyone… the official release of a Gingerbread Cookie Hard Cider. That’s right! One of your favorite holiday cookies will now have the chance to become one of your favorite holiday drinks!
With the purchase of a glass of cider, (the new Gingerbread Cookie Hard Cider, perhaps?) you automatically enter into the competition. Supplies will be provided by the Cider & Spirits Bar, while the creativity is entirely up to you! Participants may stop by any time throughout the day, within operating hours, to build and decorate their own gingerbread house. All of the final projects will be put on display in the Cider & Spirits Bar, as well as on Facebook, where people can vote for their favorite. Winner(s) gets a Cider & Spirits Bar gift card or a free Loyalty Club membership for 6 months. If you are already a Loyalty Club Member, participation in the competition will earn you an additional two points per dollar than usual on all your purchases.
ALL patrons are welcome to participate in this event, including those under 21. Rather than a purchase of our hard ciders, with a purchase of our NA Cherry Cider, all children or guests under 21 can display their skills at gingerbread house making. There is no need to hire a babysitter, bring the whole family for this fun event!
Need more convincing? This open-house style event is also your opportunity to find out more about your and your family’s cider preferences, and maybe even a chance to get a little extra shopping in before the holidays. (St. Nick does come the night of December 5th, after all.)
