Flannel & Chili Fest
Saturday, October 10th, 2026, 12-4PM
(Chili Tasting at 1PM)
The fall season brings about so many things to raise a glass to, even despite the chill in the air and the painstaking task of raking leaves. Fall is the time for pumpkin-spice products (edible and not), warm soup, and the long sought-after, “sweater weather.” And although we too love all these aspects of fall, this year, we are cashing in our sweaters for flannels, our butternut squash soup for chili, and our pumpkin spice for Toffee Pecan Pie! (Hard Cider, that is.)
That’s right! Join us for a special limited tap release of our new, Toffee Pecan Pie Hard Cider! And to celebrate this latest hard cider flavor, we are engulfing ourselves in the fall season and adding a chili cook-off with a flannel dress code to this special release event!
Plus, if you show up in your best flannel, post a photo, and Tag the von Stiehl Cider & Spirits Bar’s Facebook page, you enter yourself for a chance to win a free glass of cider.
The cost is $10/person, which earns you a full glass of our new Toffee Pecan Pie Hard Cider, and participation and judging in the chili cook-off. (So, come with an appetite and a strong opinion of whether or not noodles belong in chili.)
The chili cook-off will promptly take place at 1PM, and to help you thoroughly enjoy yourself, and to work off any additional helpings of chili that you may have partook in, live music will be performing from 12-4PM. So, stop down for a bowl of chili, live music, and enjoy a hard cider or warm cocktail around the fire.
Purchase your admission online or call into the winery at (920) 487-5208 to RSVP for your spot!
Christmas In July Cider Release & Fashion Show
Saturday, July 18th, 2026, 12 – 4PM
(Fashion Show at 2PM)
We are excited to announce the release of our Strawberry Mint Mojito Hard Cider!
So what better way to celebrate the addition of this summer drink-inspired cider than with a Christmas In July Cider Release & Fashion Show Event!
Join us in not only the enjoyment of a new hard cider release, but enjoy tasty beverages at our pop-up tiki bar! This tiki bar will be offering specialty cocktail flights, available the day of the cider release only.
But if you thought that fun tiki drinks were the only thing to accompany this hard cider debut, we have one more surprise, as this event also entails a unique fashion show!
That’s right, our Strawberry Mint Mojito isn’t the only thing that is going to be showcased! And to boost spirits even higher, we are making the fashion show Christmas-themed. All you have to do is show up in your own special Christmas outfit, or use our craft station to create one that day. If you choose to create your ‘designer piece’ from scratch, we encourage participants to bring their own shirt to decorate, or they can simply add to what they already have on. Finally, it will be time to sip and strut! Literally! All contestants in the fashion show must not only display their own attire and swagger, but must be carrying a drink at all times while walking the catwalk.
Prizes:
1st place: $25 gift certificate
2nd place: 4-pack of cider cans
3rd place: Free tiki cocktail
Plus, if you post a photo of your outfit and tag the von Stiehl Cider & Spirits Bar on Facebook, you get a chance to win a free glass of cider. (Winner chosen that day.)
There is NO COST or sign-up ahead of time. The only obligation to enroll in this fashion show and to win these prizes is to buy a specialty cocktail flight or a glass of the Strawberry Mint Mojito to be entered.
Are you in love with the idea of attending this event to try a new hard cider and ordering a specialty tiki flight but are unsure about channeling your inner Tyra Banks?
No problem! All guests are more than welcome to enjoy our Strawberry Mint Mojito and beverages at the tiki bar without becoming ‘von Stiehl’s Next Top Model.’ However, we do encourage guests to stick around and become part of our judges panel.
And for those of you who are on the fence, and could go either way in this fashion show participation, we recommend treating yourself to our new Strawberry Mint Mojito Hard Cider, a fruity cocktail flight, and one loud listen to Right Said Fred. Then, we simply await what award you will achieve.

2026 Futures Wine Tasting
Saturday, May 9, 10am-3:30pm
$40/person, 16-person capacity per session
von Stiehl’s Futures Wine Tasting is offered for those who want the exclusive chance to taste upcoming releases before bottling.
The wines are presented by our winemakers in our intimate, 150-year-old wine tunnels at the winery and our production facility. Wines will be paired with small bites designed to showcase the wines and soften their youthful exuberance. While sampling these unique wines, we encourage you to write comments on how they taste; you’d be surprised at how much change the wine undergoes while in the bottle.
During the 2026 Futures Wine Tasting, guests are offered the opportunity to secure a number of sought-after wines at special pricing in advance of bottling and subsequent general release.
We will have three tasting stations for you to rotate through, two in our wine production area, and one in the aging cellars. Groups of 16 will move from station to station. Terroir – Learning To Blend Wine With Local Flavors
January 23, 2027, 2PM
$249/person, 30-person capacity
***TICKETS CURRENTLY DISCOUNTED AT $225/PERSON***
“Terroir” in the world of wine reflects the environmental effects that soil, climate, and terrain can impart on the taste and character of wine. The specific location where grapes are grown imparts distinct qualities to the wine produced from them.
We believe that this concept also extends to farmland and the animals raised on it. By joining with Salmon’s Meats and Homestead Kitchen and Tap, we aim to bring an unpretentious educational experience that pairs our wines and ciders with locally raised beef and locally produced cheese.
Join von Stiehl owners on the afternoon and evening of January 23, to be guided through multiple wine pairing experiences focused on Door and Kewaunee County terroir. Test your wine blending abilities as we create a new red wine together, then step back in time with a tasting of some of our reserve wines. Only 30 tickets are available. Please sign up soon!
2 pm von Stiehl Production • 104 Steele Street
Experience the grapes of our Door County vineyard paired with meats curated by Salmon’s Meats. Learn how Marechal Foch, Frontenac, and Marquette grapes are blended to create our estate vintages.
Our meat experts from Salmon’s will offer three cold cuts of meat to be paired with these wines, and we will explore together how the flavors of the meat and wine reflect our local lakeside terroir.
3 pm von Stiehl Production • 104 Steele Street
A blending experience. Our ultimate task will be to create a super blend which will pair with Krohn cheese made with Ebert milk.
Teams will create and name their blend, then write tasting notes explaining why the blend pairs so well with the selected cheese. The winning blend will be produced in 2027.
4 pm von Stiehl Tasting Room • 115 Navarino Street
Special flight tasting created from our vault wines.
(5:30 pm winery departure to Homestead Kitchen and Tap)
6:30 Dinner begins at Homestead Kitchen and Tap • N7551 Co Rd D
We’ll move to Homestead Kitchen and Tap for a dinner featuring Ebert Hanger and Flat Iron steaks cooked medium-rare. We’ll learn about the animals, how they are raised, and how local terroir and feeding affect flavors.
Come in comfortable dress. This casual night is about learning about the farming practices that go into the flavors of wine and food.
Maximum of 30 attendees. $249 per person includes afternoon cheeses and meats, wine, dinner, three bottles of the winning blend, and many laughs! Wines will be available for pick up in the summer of 2028. After purchasing tickets, please email brad@vonstiehl.com with any special food requests or allergies.
***TICKETS WILL INCREASE TO $249/PERSON AFTER OCTOBER 23RD, 2026***
Amuse-Bouche Pairing Tour
Saturday, February 21st, 1:30pm
$30/person, 20-person capacity
Looking for a fun way to enjoy a weekend afternoon or unwind with a loved one? Relax and share laughs as you enjoy our Amuse-Bouche Pairing Tour experience!
The pairings you will encounter through these Amuse-bouche tours were initially inspired by the pairings featured at our quarterly Family Plan Wine Club pick-up parties. However, the specific pairings in these monthly tours have been enhanced and provide an experience beyond stopping by to pick up wine. Each tour will take place on one select day in February-May, and will be offered at 1:30pm, with a 20-person capacity.
So, what is amuse-bouche, you may ask? Amuse-bouche is a specific cuisine category dedicated to, simply, “amuse the mouth” by preparing bite-sized appetizers. Similar to hors d’œuvres, amuse-bouches are single offerings and generally depict a glimpse of a chef’s style. And although there may not be an entire entree awaiting you, there is plenty of delicious von Stiehl wine!
This experience goes beyond just a regular tour of recollecting dates, names, and brick walls. During this exploration, our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide will share the history of the winery, provide education about our production process (and perhaps a few ghost stories), but they will also share a unique pairing experience that will stimulate your appetite for a continued afternoon out on the town. Part of what makes these five “amuse-bouche” food and wine offerings so special is that all have been hand-selected by our head winemaker, Aric, as well as our wine club concierge, Jenny. Science, experience, and pure enjoyment have gone into each of the five pairings that will be showcased during these tours. Each pairing will be used to awaken the palate while preparing you for the next step throughout our property. Our tour will begin at the winery and continue through our production facility, showcasing pairings within our Barrel Room, Bottling Room, and Tank Room. Upon each stop, you will enjoy a small bite that is paired with big flavors and interesting facts about the inner workings of von Stiehl. You will then be directed back to the winery to view and enjoy your last pairing in our historic cellars.
This Amuse-Bouche Pairing Tour showcases our unique wine style, our love of food and ingenuity, and a new approach to our nostalgic history.
There are so many reasons to treat ourselves, stop into the winery, and let us be a part of yours. Share this experience with a loved one and purchase your ticket(s) today!
Upcoming Tour Dates:
Saturday, March 21st
Sunday, April 26th
