Our December Extended Fridays will have you cheering, “T.G.I.F!”
Join us for an additional two hours of wine and shopping from 5-7PM!
We know how important it is to shed the stresses of the workweek and take time to relax. During these two additional hours, we will be transforming our tasting room and upstairs lounge into a wine bar setting. We encourage you to take advantage of our space, grab a glass of wine, and stay for a while.
Use this time to browse our Holiday Gift Guide or create your order online. After enjoying various samplings from our tasting guide, you are sure to feel inspired to finish your holiday wine gift shopping. (Or maybe you still need to start them?).
If your shopping is done and you’d prefer to relax, take this time to chat with friends and family who are in town to visit, or have an impromptu date night as you share a bottle of wine in our lounge. (If you ask nicely, our staff may even dim the lights to set the mood.)

Jennifer Highland, known as a local legend ’round these parts, has displayed her talents over decades in the business ownership industry, and recently, as von Stiehl’s own Tasting Room & Wine Club Manager. Now, Jennifer Highland is wow-ing us with yet another amazing talent. (Is there anything she can’t do!? – Well, maybe Free Bird by Lynard Skynard, but that’s not because she can’t. It’s because she won’t.) Let Jennifer Highland tend your senses with their music while our staff tends the fire! Jacob Fannin has two original albums and appeared on Season 3 of NBC’s, The Sing Off. Most recently, he worked as a vocalist/guitarist for Carnival Cruise Lines and was part of the #1 rated Entertainment team among Carnival’s 20+ ships (as voted by guests) during his time with the company. Now, back in Wisconsin as a full-time musician, he performs a full list of cover songs from all genres and is constantly expanding his repertoire. Levi Ballenger is a full-time professional singer/songwriter, guitarist, and producer from central Wisconsin. He began playing music professionally in 2016, performing as a solo artist and with various groups. His influences are quite diverse and have helped him to develop a sound that is uniquely his own. He is currently completing his final year at UW Stevens Point, where he will graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in music and art. Let Levi Ballenger tend your senses with their music while our staff tends the fire!

2025 Wet Whistle Wine Fest
September 19th & 20th
Wet Whistle Wine Fest is a fundraiser for the Community Improvement of Algoma, and the Algoma Fire and Rescue. Our 2025 Wet Whistle Wine Fest offers award-winning wines, a grape stomp, hearty sandwiches, & live music! Upon initial observation, what may seem odd at Wet Whistle Wine Fest are all the costumes! We don’t ask anyone to dress up, yet it never ceases to amaze every year! This year, the event will be taking place on Friday, September 19th from 5PM-9PM, and Saturday, September 20th from 10AM-6PM. Come to the wine fest and see it for yourself!
