So often wineries draw in newcomers by romance. The clink of the glass during a toast, the aromatics of an aged red wine as it’s swirled, the smile of others experiencing the fruit of the vine. This romance appears when we all take many steps to provide it. Customers are wowed when everything is just right, and our staff exudes passion. Creating romance takes a lot of thought and work.

Our staff are considered our experts – we are all equal – and each of us uniquely impacts the success of the Company according to our combined background and personality. Jobs are not based on gender. No person is too important to complete any job, no job is below any person, and the Company takes steps to ensure that. We do what we need to do, when we need to do it, whether we feel like it or not. Because we respect each other so highly, we speak highly and act in a positive manner toward each other. Being honest with each other, and carrying integrity in our words and actions, are of utmost importance.

We will produce and present wine in the best possible way for our guests. We value, what our customers value and seek to elevate their experience with us. We research and develop state-of-the-art equipment and practices. We continually pursue improvement in wines, designs, products, practices, and markets, all with an improved guest experience in mind.

Profitability

If a company does not turn a profit, help someone in need, or promote their brand in a profitable way, it cannot continue. Efficiency is valued in production, labor, and thought. We will spend money to produce income and will not let a penny go to waste when it can be prevented. We watch the little expenses. We strive for sustained company growth to stay profitable.

Brain Trust

We obtain advice from each other and think before acting. Weekly and daily decisions are trusted to those in their area of responsibility. Whenever possible, major decisions are made in teams or by group. We are all in this together and are all accountable to each other. “None of us is as smart as all of us”. The best answers and the deepest insights come when we work together and are unafraid to share differing views.
